Curriculum
Sanne Broekhof graduated in spatial planning at Wageningen University in january 2011. During her thesis on the planning of food systems in a western context, she worked as a junior project advisor at the department ‘Spatial Consultensy and Advice’ of the Dutch Land Registry Office (Kadaster). After her graduation she continued as a PhD researcher at the Land Use Planning group and the Kadaster on the the experience of land ownership in spatial planning projects.

Research project
The scope of the PhD-research will be on the influence of land ownership on spatial developments and on the correlation between land ownership and spatial developments. The study focusses on the sociological aspects of this relationship. In the following months the subject of the study will be further detailed.
